6 Recent Buys - ABT, AMGN, BNS, MMM, TGT, UNA

After closing out my position in Chevron (CVX) I had a nice pile of cash to redeploy. I have added to existing positions in Abbott Laboratories (ABT), Amgen Inc (AMGN), Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS.TO), 3M Company (MMM), Target Corp (TGT) and Unilever (UNA.AS). Target's numbers look good in this overbought market. No wonder many DG bloggers have been buying the company since it fell below $70. They just raised dividend by decent 7,1%. I have promoted TGT to "Cornerstone" position in my portfolio.

CVX sale is naturally leaving a gap in my MAR/JUN/SEP/DEC dividends. AMGN, MMM, TGT and UNA purchases here are the beginning of patching that hole. I also wanted to average down my cost basis in Abbott. One more share of Scotiabank is the final little push towards my July dividends.
